“Dinner with friends, summer BBQs, more than one parent attending our daughter’s gymnastics class, having visitors at the hospital when we welcome our son in a couple weeks. All of it. This is why I decided that at 34 weeks pregnant to get the Covid-19 Vaccine. I did it for my family, for the elders in my community, for my unborn child. I did it for the mama who is with child and more susceptible to becoming very ill with covid. Because my family has gone through it. I did it because I, at 32 weeks pregnant, had covid and it’s the last thing I’d want for another fellow pregnant mama.”
