“Like most people, I chose to get vaccinated to keep myself and those close to me healthy! But the biggest reason for getting vaccinated is, when I was 19 years old I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which has had long term effects on my overall health. When I get sick, I get extremely sick, so I didn’t want to take any risks and find out just how sick COVID-19 could make me. Even if you feel you’re not at risk for complications with COVID-19, you can unknowingly contract the virus and pass it onto someone like me, who’s body is not equipped to handle an illness like that.”
