“March of 2020 I gave birth to our amazing daughter. Hospital rules were changing by the minute- nobody was allowed to come visit. Her grandparents, family, and friends met her through a window or from across the yard. It took 7 months before we finally sent her to daycare because I needed to work, but the risk was terrifying.
At that time, it felt like a vaccine was near, which helped ease my mind. The day I could schedule an appointment, I refreshed my screen every 30 seconds waiting for appointments to open up. I was literally jumping for joy when I scheduled my appointment from the line at Subway. I realize to some people this might sound silly, but being able to be vaccinated to help protect myself, my family, and especially my baby girl, was such a relief and a light in what has been a challenging time for all of us.
I am so ready to get back to normal – and to go get my booster shot 💪🏼”
